Recap
In the first game Leanne managed to keep a 500 point gap throughout the leg to give the home team a 1-0 lead. Gary started the second with a confident 150 break! Stephen managed to get the break back and secure a 4,500 score. Gary kept going, however, and pushed Stephen all the way but just fell short, which mad wit 2-0.
It was then time for the ‘all girls’ match between Michelle and Karen. Michelle looked like she was going to get her first winning point for a while but Karen came back at the end and skilfully potted the red in the 200 hole to secure the win. It proved a very good game which neither player deserved to lose.
The fourth game only went one way with Simon having all the luck alongside his skilful play as he managed to get the break back several times.
With the Cardigan now 3-1 up John used the relaxed mood to regain his form, which has been missing for a while, and compiled a very nice 4,700 break to win the game against Alan.
Final score 4-1.
