Mick (2,450) did mot get a good start and Matt (3,460) was on good form to give the away side the lead. Ted and Dave’s game was definitely the match of the night as Dave went off with 4k and Ted followed by scoring a few including 800 on the 200 hole (2 whites and a red!). Dave got back on and scored nothing a couple of times which allowed Ted to get right back into the game. When the bar dropped Ted unfortunately could not pull off any further 200 shots and lost by 620. Ted was applauded by both teams at the end of the game. Martin (3,180) had a good start and Jason (1,600) could not get into the game. Dawn (1,240) played Jon (3,340) next and neither started well but Jon got his act together and won well. Kevin (1,490) was looking to salvage something for the home side against Nick (2,090) in what turned out to be a good, close game. Kevin lost a 750 break just before the bar dropped and Nick finished the game off. Overall a really good night against a very good team and the Headlanders were quite happy to get one point out of the match.
